We work closely with parents, carers and guardians to support them in fulfilling their responsibilities as authoritative figures in young people’s lives. The adults within a young person’s environment play a crucial role in ensuring their health, development and future success.

The relationship between guardian and child lays the foundation for the child’s personality, life choices and behaviour. It can also affect their social, physical, mental and emotional health. We understand that modern family life can be challenging and stressful. Our aim is to facilitate communication and understanding between guardians, youths and schools to achieve the best possible outcomes for everyone.

Our coaching programmes are tailored to suit individual circumstances although, as an overview, we assist guardians on the fundamentals of:

  • Managing relationships
  • Managing emotions
  • School and education
  • Diet and nutrition
  • Exercise
  • Home life
  • Challening limiting values and beliefs
  • Building and leveraging a support network

Primarily, our sessions focus on the importance of these factors in a young persons’ life, however we endeavour to promote the same mindset and values in adults too.

Guardians and Schools working together

We encourage guardians to be involved in a child’s education and to work closely with schools. We believe that when guardians are actively engaged in school life, they are more likely to participate and have a more substantial impact in their child’s progression. Ultimately, the responsibility for a child’s education is shared between guardians and staff within the education system.

Home Life

Rules and Boundaries

Our experience has taught us that many youths need to reprogram their thought patterns with regard to rules and boundaries, both at home and in the education system, so they can function more effectively and peacefully within society.

Relationships

Our programmes are designed to enhance relationships within the home. We assist in creating a more harmonious and peaceful family environment which studies show helps build a more stable foundation upon which a child’s future is built.

Diet and Nutrition

We recognise the importance of a healthy diet and the impact it has on an individual’s daily life. Research shows that a poor diet can affect your mood and mental health. We provide 1-2-1 and group sessions on exercise, diet and nutrition to educate everyone on the importance physical health in supporting your mental health.
